Scent Story
Some fragrances are composed. This one was discovered.
Over three and a half centuries, the botanists and plant hunters of the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh mapped, preserved, and championed the wild plant kingdom — from the highland glens of Scotland to the far reaches of the Himalayas.
Kingdom Botanica is their olfactory legacy: a classically crafted eau de parfum that honours the relentless curiosity that drives botanical science.
Crafted in Scotland by a classically trained perfumer using only sustainable, natural aromatic ingredients, the fragrance opens with an invigorating prelude of spiced plum blossom, fresh pink pepper, and lush blackcurrant bud — green, vital, and alive.
At its heart, a rare rhododendron accord — a tribute to the pioneering fieldwork begun by Scottish botanist George Forrest in 1904 — unfolds alongside exotic white florals, ginger lily, jasmine, and whispers of sweet myrrh.
The base is unhurried and grounding: warm sandalwood, patchouli, cedarwood, and vetiver, leaving a trail that is both timeless and deeply rooted in the earth.
Gender-inclusive and consciously made, Kingdom Botanica is a fragrance of purpose as much as pleasure.
Each bottle contributes directly to biodiversity research and conservation at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.
Botanical maximalism. Enduring elegance. Scotland, distilled.
