These Terms & Conditions are here to set out clearly how we work with you when you visit our website and purchase our fragrances. We’ve written them with care, blending the required legal detail with a little of Kingdom Scotland’s voice. Please read them carefully before using our site or placing an order.

These Terms & Conditions govern:

• Your purchase of any products from us
• Your rights as a customer, and our responsibilities as a business

By using our site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to place an order with us.
• You promise that the information you provide is true, accurate, and up to date.
  

 

4. Orders & Contract Formation

• When you place an order, you’ll receive an acknowledgment email. This is not our acceptance.
• A contract is only formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation email or ship your order.
• We may refuse or cancel an order (for example, if a product is unavailable, there’s a pricing error, or payment can’t be authorised).
  

 

5. Prices, Payment & Ownership

• Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout.
• We accept the payment methods displayed on our website.
• Ownership of goods passes to you once full payment is received. Risk passes to you upon delivery.

6. Delivery

• We deliver within the UK only at this time. Delivery options and charges will be shown at checkout.
• Please provide accurate delivery details. If delivery fails because of incorrect information or missed acceptance, you may bear the cost of redelivery.
• In the future when we do ship internationally, customs duties or taxes may apply for international deliveries, these are your responsibility.
  

 

7. Returns, Cancellations & Refunds

We want you to be delighted with your fragrance. As a consumer, you also have specific legal rights under UK law:

• You may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013).
• To cancel, contact us at perfume@kingdomscotland.com You then have 14 days to return the goods to us.
• Goods must be returned unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.
• For hygiene reasons, perfumes that have been unsealed cannot be returned unless faulty.
• We will refund the product price plus the standard delivery cost within 14 days of receiving the return (or proof of return).
• You are responsible for return postage unless the product is faulty or incorrect.
  

 

8. Faulty or Damaged Goods

• If your product is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
• Please contact us promptly, with proof of purchase, so we can resolve this for you.

9. Website Use & Intellectual Property

• All content on our site - text, images, graphics, logos, packaging design, scent stories - belongs to us or our licensors.
• You may view, print, or share for personal, non-commercial use only.
• You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or exploit any content without our written permission.

10. Safety & Allergies

Our fragrances are created with the highest quality ingredients, and safety tested in line with EU and UK cosmetic regulations.
However:

• Please read the ingredient listings carefully before use.
• If you have allergies or sensitivities, perform a patch test before full use.
• We cannot accept liability for allergic reactions unless caused by our negligence or breach of regulations.

11. Liability

• Nothing in these Terms excludes our liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
• Otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the price paid for your order.
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of income or enjoyment).
  

 

12. Promotions, Gift Cards & Vouchers

• Promotions and discount codes may not be combined unless stated.
• Gift cards are valid for 12 months from date of issue and are non-refundable.
