Scent Story
Scotland's oldest rocks are not found - they are uncovered. Folded, compressed, and reshaped across hundreds of millions of years, they hold their stories deep. Metamorphic was composed with the same unhurried patience.
Inspired by the dramatic geological landscapes of the Scottish Highlands and by the founder's enduring devotion to Islay malt whisky, this is a fragrance of elemental force and controlled complexity. It opens with a smouldering, unapologetic intensity - black pepper and tobacco ignite, carrying with them the peaty warmth of the island malts that shaped this scent's DNA. Smoke drifts. Spice builds. The landscape asserts itself.
At the heart, a dark rose absolute arrives with quiet authority - velvety, full-bodied, and deeply sensual - tempering the fire without extinguishing it. Incense and earthy minerals hold the composition in tension, raw and refined in equal measure. Then the base reveals itself, slowly and inevitably, as all true transformations do. Amber resin, soft leather, and the rare Santalum spicatum sandalwood - milky, peppery, faintly metallic - settle into the skin with a dry, creamy depth that is entirely its own.
Complex, powerful, and enduring. Like the landscape that made it, Metamorphic rewards patience.
Pressure. Heat. Time. Remarkable.
